When dealing with thousands of transactions per minute from a customer base numbering in millions, your LOB applications need to be functioning at peak performance. With a track record of being a technologically innovative organization, our customer had focused on using IT as a tool to acquire new customers, retain and sell deeper into existing customer relationships.

The rapid rate of technology progress in the financial services sector, along with a sharp focus from regulatory bodies meant that a large number of LOB applications had to be commissioned in increasingly shorter time frames, without compromising on the integrity and security of confidential customer data. We were given the mandate of being a single point of contact for all their infrastructure requirements, and ensuring that core IT infrastructure, including middleware, adhered to best practices and the most stringent of security and compliance regulations.

Right from the familiar Microsoft data platform to enterprise class Oracle databases on proprietary Unix platforms, our infrastructure team excelled in project management, vendor co-ordination and execution. Installations ranged from a single node to complex multinode, highly available instances. Showcasing our breadth of delivery skills, we also managed the deployment and maintenance of high availability Websphere middleware. Among other crucial aspects of the IT infrastructure that we managed was their directory services and enterprise mail servers, a testament to the confidence that our customer placed in our capacity to deliver.
