From a humble beginnings, one of our customers has grown to an empire in themselves with their diversified industries and service renderings. Their group is a country major in the core infrastructure sector, spanning roads, airports & power, to metal & alloy as well as agro based industries. They have lately expanded their wings abroad in the infrastructure segment.
The company was expanding rapidly with new human resources recruited at a very fast pace. The company's outdated, heterogeneous IT infrastructure could not cope up with this express growth, and isolated systems, across multiple locations hampered employee communications. To address this, they had invested in a state of the art information worker infrastructure, right from desktop productivity tools to server based collaboration and information storage. The IT team was looking for a service provider who could help manage the change and provide a smooth transition to the new environment.
Our Business Productivity Group took up the challenge, designed custom content and provided a series of business productivity sessions to the end users spanning across various levels - senior level CxOs to junior level executives. Our resources travelled across the country to deliver these sessions onsite.
The sessions were modelled as hands-on and the participants were taken through the various features of the applications that would have a direct impact on improving their day to day activities. “Better and Faster” was the theme and the focus was on saving time and effort of the users to arrive at the best results quicker.
A structured approach and professional delivery model enabled employees to accept the new system without any hesitation, with the result that they were able to use the system efficiently, collaborate better and manage their time and tasks effectively. Our involvement in equipping the end users with the essentials of advanced technology has made change management of this huge proportion very simple, smooth and sure.
